Grand Hotel Ter Duin - Duinhotel Burgh-Haamstede

Exceptionally nice and ideal position, we enjoyed staying here.

All in all, it was excellent base for travelling to Burgh-Haamstede.

I enjoy the fact I have use of the leisure facilities while away on business

Wireless network in the rooms would be an advantage.

Very comfy bed in comfort room with a safe, central heating, and an electronic key card. Excellent location in Burgh-Haamstede next to Renesse as well as dunes and sea.

The swimming pool is excellent and the sauna.

The balcony of the luxury suite had no chairs and was too small for chairs! There was a chaise lounge in the room and no place for 2 ordinary people to sit and read. There was no hotel guide for hotel facilities and check-out time and facilities in the area. When I asked for one, I was told that they had only been open since the end of June and were "getting around to it." When I had a question for Booked.net and asked the receptionist for the telephone number, I couldn't get it. Another guest had to give it to me. There is an entrance and exit with an elevator, but no directions to it so we just walked with suitcases up and down lots of steps....Good exercise, but not with luggage!

Jacusy. Swimmingpool very good ( indoor, -+ '10 meter long) hot/cold shower, sauna, with changing lightning in spectrum collors. Trees & daylicht. Rooms & beds, wide & soft. Jugendstyle. Public Transport: Busstop133, every half hour nearby hotel to Middelburg trainstation.

Big room, lots of satellite channels, nice pool.

No glasses or mug or mini fridge provide in the rooms. Breakfast area is in the basement and has no natural light. Wifi not available in rooms.

Plus, I enjoyed the hotel's proximity to places like the Burghse Schoole, just about 1.5 km away, and the serene Boswachterij Westerschouwen, almost 1.5 km away, ideal for a relaxing afternoon walk.

The hotel was nice and clean and airy. The location was very good for exploring the area. Met our expectations for a one night stop in the area.

The bar and dinning area had very low lighting. Breakfast in the dark is not so enjoyable. Parking was a problem for some because the hotel was very full, double parking and parking on sandy areas. Not able to drop off luggage by the door with the car because of all the extensive steps and footpath slopes. Not a problem for us but disabled or elderly would need help.

The total stay was perfect for one night. In my case they offered Wheelchair Accessible room with water kettle and tea/coffee, for instance and that was great. The breakfast was generous with many options available, the staff was attentive! Overall I liked the stay and recommend.

We had an enjoyable stay, especially the lovely swimming pool and the delicious breakfast. The spacious room was very cozy. However, the bathroom didn't match the photos and felt a bit off.

We enjoyed the lovely swimming pool and took advantage of nearby sailing and kayaking adventures. The staff were genuinely kind, and our balcony provided a lovely spot to relax in the sun.

In my wife's opinion, cleanliness needs improvement for families.
